Lodi Beer Fest & State BBQ Competition

Held in the Ole Mettler Pavilion and the adjacent outside area, the Lodi Beer Fest promises an afternoon of a lot of beer and a lot of fun.

Located at the Lodi Grape Festival grounds, 413 E. Lockeford Street, Lodi, CA 95240

VIP Tasting - $45 in advance
1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
It will feel like a one on one experience with participating breweries. All tickets include an hour early admission, unlimited tasting and a commemorative beer glass. A limited quantity of tickets will be sold.

General Admission - $30 in advance / $40 at the door
2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
All tickets include a commemorative beer glass and unlimited tasting.

Designated driver tickets are $10 and are available at the door.

Must be 21 or older to attend - this includes infants, toddlers and all children.

Pets are not allowed.

STATE BBQ COMPETITION
California State BBQ Championship sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS),
Contestants cook 4 meats:

• Chicken
• Pork Ribs
• Boston Port Roast (Pork Shoulder/Boston Butt)
• Beef Brisket

Which may be cooked using heat sources of

• Wood
• Pellets
• Charcoal (lump or briquettes)

Entries are judged blindly on the following criteria:

• Appearance
• Tenderness
• Taste

If more than 15 teams enter the contest the winner will be sent to the “World Series of BBQ” known as Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue (draw) and an American Royal Invitational Qualifier, as well as a Team of the Year (ToY) event.
